An extension to a Victorian villa to open-up the kitchen - the main living room of the house - to the garden. The back extension was propped on steel to make a corner which can be folded back in summer, giving a genuinely 'indoor-outdoor' space. Great attention was paid to detail in order to craft intimate places around the likes and habits of its inhabitants: two adults, two children and two cats.
